I met Jesse Eisenberg today!! If you know me at all, you know that this is pretty much an incredible moment in my life since I absolutely adore everything about him!! I went to see his play Asuncion at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City (I live here, so it was convenient for me to go); the play itself was enjoyable and overall a really impressive effort by Jesse (who wrote and starred in it.) After the show he came out of the theatre and met with fangirls like me. He really is incredibly shy and anxious in person, very quiet, polite and soft-spoken and didn’t say much except “thank you.” It’s interesting, because he is very lively, emotional, and energetic on stage! I was so grateful he took a photo with me and autographed my Social Network DVD, he obviously didn’t have to, I was tongue-tied and awkward and it really was wonderful of him to be so tolerant!! I get the impression that he’s uncomfortable with his fame and will always be humble and shy and sdfsdfsf I LOVE HIM FOR IT.
BEST DAY EVER. JESSE I HOPE YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN LIFE. Fangirl out!!

Have I ever mentioned… that I love The Social Network so much… like an absolutely delusional, unhealthy amount of love? I have seen it so many times that I can literally recite every line and that’s a lot of lines.
The only thing I’ve watched on repeat just as much are the three episodes of Sherlock. I seriously put TSN or a Sherlock ep on in the background ALL THE TIME when I’m painting, and I listen to them like they’re good rock albums or something. What can I say, BLISTERINGLY FAST AND SCATHING DIALOGUE SOOTHES ME.
Drawing I did over Livestream today of Jesse Eisenberg (who is awesome.) Funny story about the nutty colors in this - I actually was just testing my brush with the highlighter yellow part, then decided whatthehell and simply drew on top of it. Here’s the video where you can see me do just that.

So when we got to the place, Mysha realized she had nothing for them to sign except her copy of The Deathly Hallows and she figured why not. She gave him the book and he looked at it and got all confused and said “but..I have nothing to do with this?” and he looked genuinely concerned like he wasn’t allowed to sign it and it was adorable and she said “I know, I’m sorry I don’t have anything else” and so he laughed and signed it and this is what he wrote. Oh my god.
Jesse Eisenberg is a champ. A complete champ.

MY OTHER FAVORITE MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, when this came out all my friends had to listen to me talk about how fucking amazing it was 7 days a week 365 days a year and also I’ve watched this a thousand times I like to put it on in the background when I’m working like a good rock album.
