My piece for the Let’s Draw Sherlock project! (The idea was that everyone draws from the same ref image but in their own style, to celebrate the diversity between Sherlock artists!)

I changed up John’s expression and sort of… interpreted (read: got lazy with) the wallpaper, but otherwise painted it as closely as I could. Spent about two days on this and could probably spend more but I’m barely under the deadline here… Prints will probably be up later at my Society6 shop!

This is a picture of an article about fandom in the English adaption of the Shanghai Daily. Not only is it an interesting, informative and a very positive view of the fandoms, it also talks about specific fandoms like the Sherlock fandom and the Supernatural fandom.
An excerpt from the article reads: “These sites also allow people that would never have met each other in real life to communicate and, sometimes, band together to support causes. For example, the fandom of “Supernatural,” a television show, often helps charities as a result of the philanthropic actor who stars in the show.”
That would be Misha. The article goes on to discuss the positive affects of fandom and fanworks, mentioning Tumblr specifically. The article was written by Shannon Hwang and features the artwork of Alice X.

Alice, have you seen this?

Oooh, thanks to everyone who let me know about this! This is really cool!

SDLFKJKLSDF so I got to do an art trade with an artist I love, Niken Anindita aka ~megatruh, who does a lot of fantastical, imaginative pieces… this is the dazzling piece she came up with, called “chemistry of common life.”
Isn’t it beautiful? I’d like to think Sherlock, who has absolutely no interest in astronomy, started visiting planetariums after his “death,” not because he wanted to learn anything, but because he appreciates, and the stars reminds him of John…

Lexie very generously gave me permission to color her beautiful Molly & Sherlock sketch! It’s been awhile since I’ve colored someone else’s lineart so I hope you guys like it. I went with more realistic colors and a comic-book kind of style this time. You can view Lexie’s original drawing here.
Challenge: write a fic about this scene! Whether platonic or romantic!
