An Illustration that I’ve slowly been working on during my lunch breaks. I don’t normally take my time quite this much, but it was really enjoyable! This is available as a hand signed and numbered, limited edition print run in my Etsy shop.Adobe Photoshop CS5, CS6 & Wacom Intuos 5.

Goddamn this is like my favorite painting by Charlie ever wow that intricate detailing and the color scheme I have such an art boner for black and gold!!!

album Songs For Christmas, Vol. II: Hark!

I know it’s not Christmas anymore, but you guys should really listen to this! It’s a very beautiful Sufjan song, wonderfully mellow and relaxing. J’adore!

This gif is mesmerizing, and makes me feel so… insignificant. Not a bad insignificant, just like… puts my day-to-day problems and neuroses into perspective, I guess? I’m a tiny speck of consciousness on a rock that is literally spinning and hurtling through the emptiness of space against a backdrop of stars that may or may not have died out zillions of years ago. And look at it! It’s totally, totally beautiful.

There are many out there who have never been on a 7:30 a.m. freeway or punched a time clock or even had a job and don’t intend to, can’t, won’t, will die first rather than live the common way. In a sense, each of them is a genius in his or her way, fighting against the obvious, swimming upstream, going mad, getting on pot, wine, whiskey, art, suicide, anything but the common equation. It will be some time before they even us out and make us say quits.

When you see that City Hall downtown and all those proper, precious people, don’t get melancholy. There is a whole tide, a whole race of mad people, starving, drunk, goofy and miraculous. I have seen many of them. I am one of them. There will be more. This city has not yet been taken. Death before death is sickening.

The strange ones will hold, the war will continue. Thank you.

Forget Me Knots - Radio Edit

album Kingdom

It’s alright not to feel okay.

Guys, I hardly ever recommend music, but you really need to know about Heathers. They are an acoustic indie folk duo of twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara, and they are AMAZING.

SDLFKJKLSDF so I got to do an art trade with an artist I love, Niken Anindita aka ~megatruh, who does a lot of fantastical, imaginative pieces… this is the dazzling piece she came up with, called “chemistry of common life.”
Isn’t it beautiful? I’d like to think Sherlock, who has absolutely no interest in astronomy, started visiting planetariums after his “death,” not because he wanted to learn anything, but because he appreciates, and the stars reminds him of John…

So, here’s what euclase sent me for our Avengers art trade. The most flawless Loki pencil portrait in probably the history of humanity and Asgard. I can’t even figure out how she got it so perfect (…blending stumps? Godlike patience?) but it’s to be expected of her work. Thank you SO much for doing this with me, Licia. You absolutely rock and I will treasure this drawing forever.
