This gif is mesmerizing, and makes me feel so… insignificant. Not a bad insignificant, just like… puts my day-to-day problems and neuroses into perspective, I guess? I’m a tiny speck of consciousness on a rock that is literally spinning and hurtling through the emptiness of space against a backdrop of stars that may or may not have died out zillions of years ago. And look at it! It’s totally, totally beautiful.
