Wow I didn’t even think of this hahahaa please wear whatever you’d like oh my gosh!!

Note that the show itself is open for three weeks (June 7th-28th), and if you’re in NYC you can come and look at the art during any of the gallery’s hours (I just won’t be there.) The reception on June 7th is really not a big deal and just an excuse for everyone to hang out and meet me if they want. It’s NOT a formal occasion, it’s a small gallery, so just come and have some refreshments and drink some cheap beer (unless you’re underage, then you can have soda) while you judge and ridicule me and ughhhh seriously, I’d be honored to have any of you!!

Hello! I unfortunately won’t be at Fanime. I actually can’t leave the house until I finish work for my show on June 7th… not even to see Star Trek…

Please note that before this year, I actually have NEVER sold at a con before (AX will be my first ever. I am a n00b.) So please be aware that I will probably massively unprepared and understocked until I get the hang of it… but… come say hi anyway! :)

As an independent artist making money from your own prints and things, how do you do your taxes? Is it hard? How do you calculate secondary distributor things like Society6 earnings? -The Boring One

Short answer: Yes, I pay taxes on everything I earn… such is life. I keep track of expenses vs. income all year, and have more knowledgable people assist me with the actual tax paperwork.

Here’s the handbill for my upcoming solo exhibition, “MOMENTS,” which opens on Friday, June 7th at NYC’s Bottleneck Gallery! The cinema-inspired show will feature all-new paintings by me and stay open for three weeks.

More information on the event here (RSVP the listing, and invite your friends too!) Admission and refreshments are free. If you can’t make it, no worries - I will be releasing previews soon, and all work will be viewable online eventually!

Not only did I just receive the most incredible fanmail message ever from someone who WISHED ME WONDERFUL THINGS and also said their 6-year-old daughter wanted to “draw like me” AHHHHHH

ALSO one of my e-cards was widely shared by an Instagram account and MY SIGNATURE WAS LEFT INTACT they didn’t erase it or even crop it out, some of you who have listened to me bitch will know ~it’s a big deal~ this is literally the first time I have EVER seen this happen JOY TO THE WORLD FOUR FOR YOU
